Rise and Shout!!!

Last weekend was homecoming!  It was so much fun!  I went to the homecoming parade with my brother John, my roommate Meagan, and her boyfriend Ben.  Then we met up with my sister Elisabeth's family (Elisabeth, Gerrit, and Miles) at the parade and for True Blue Pancakes.  At the parade, we also met up with Marinda (Gerrit's sister), Anna (Ben's sister), and Kristina from my ward last year.  It was super cold so hardly anyone was at the parade.  We were also the loudest people in our section of the street by far.  Also, we had an absolutely adorable 2-year old with us.  Put all of this together and what do you get?  Tons of free stuff!!!  The parade was just awesome and so much fun!

John's masterpiece

Miles really liked the pancakes too!

I love my sister so much!  I'm so glad she came with her family!

Our traditional homecoming picture

It was great running into Kristina again!

This picture actually reminds me a lot of a picture of James, John, and me when we were little and waiting for a parade that Elisabeth was in.

Go Cougar marching band!

Cosmo waved at Miles!

Live dream of getting pizza coupons from Brick Oven Pizza fulfilled!

So, some people randomly gave out tortillas...... So what do you do with them........?
Chuck them across the street of course!  (It was quite impressive really)

Mr. BYU stopped and yodeled to us.  It was way cool!

I love the folk dancers!

Then that night, I went to the game with all of my roommates (minus Margaret).  We were playing San Jose State which made it even more fun for me.  It was cold, but a lot of fun!

Ding dong, the bells are gonna chime!

So, this past week, Camilla, my lovely roommate from last year, got married!  I'm so excited for her and her husband Diogo.  This wedding was especially exciting for me because I got to be there while they were dating and when they got engaged.  If you want to read their super cute story, you can look here.

Her bridal shower was Tuesday and it was a great time.  We came up with date ideas for the soon-to-be newlyweds, ate ice cream, and enjoyed giving her lots of presents!

The beautiful bride to be.

Ice cream was there of course!

I have to say, Morgan's present was the best by far!!!!

Then, Camilla got married on Thursday!  Morgan drove Sarahy, Chelsea, and me up to Salt Lake for her reception.  It was in the Joseph Smith Building and overlooked the temple.  It was absolutely beautiful.  Camilla looked amazing and the love between her and Diogo was just so apparent.  There was a really fun photo booth, amazing food, and great company, plus jamming out to N*Sync on the way back.  It was an amazing night and  I'm so excited for Camilla and Diogo.  Congrats!!!!!

On the way tup to Salt Lake

It's Friday, Friday

Sorry for the Rebecca Black reference, I couldn't help it!  Well, last night I was not looking forward to because I knew I needed to do homework all night.  But, it actually ended up being pretty fun.  Kenzie, Brittany, and I had a homework party!

We first worked on homework for a long time.....

Then we took a picture break......

Then we took a longer break and watched the Sing-off!  Go Vocal Point!!!!!!!

It ended up being a fun and productive evening.  Overall, it was a great Friday!
