A Bit of a Shutterbug

My Grandpa Stuart was an amateur photographer with his own darkroom and everything.  He used to call anyone who loved photography a "Shutterbug".  He also would say that a good photographer does look for pictures but that photos just find them.  As my Grandpa would say, I'm a shutterbug! I've definitely inherited that from him.  So, I thought I'd share some of my favorite, non-people pictures I've taken since school started this year.

Holy cow, it's already Halloween!

We had a ward Halloween party tonight and it was super fun!  My lovely roommates were cowgirls and I was a Holy Cow!  Here's some pictures of our fun:

Oh, the shame of not going to the ward Halloween party.

It was just an awesome, fun night!

Rise and Shout!!!

Last weekend was homecoming!  It was so much fun!  I went to the homecoming parade with my brother John, my roommate Meagan, and her boyfriend Ben.  Then we met up with my sister Elisabeth's family (Elisabeth, Gerrit, and Miles) at the parade and for True Blue Pancakes.  At the parade, we also met up with Marinda (Gerrit's sister), Anna (Ben's sister), and Kristina from my ward last year.  It was super cold so hardly anyone was at the parade.  We were also the loudest people in our section of the street by far.  Also, we had an absolutely adorable 2-year old with us.  Put all of this together and what do you get?  Tons of free stuff!!!  The parade was just awesome and so much fun!

John's masterpiece

Miles really liked the pancakes too!

I love my sister so much!  I'm so glad she came with her family!

Our traditional homecoming picture

It was great running into Kristina again!

This picture actually reminds me a lot of a picture of James, John, and me when we were little and waiting for a parade that Elisabeth was in.

Go Cougar marching band!

Cosmo waved at Miles!

Live dream of getting pizza coupons from Brick Oven Pizza fulfilled!

So, some people randomly gave out tortillas...... So what do you do with them........?
Chuck them across the street of course!  (It was quite impressive really)

Mr. BYU stopped and yodeled to us.  It was way cool!

I love the folk dancers!

Then that night, I went to the game with all of my roommates (minus Margaret).  We were playing San Jose State which made it even more fun for me.  It was cold, but a lot of fun!
